NEGATIVE NANCY: MY BOUT WITH NEGATIVE REVIEWS.

Can't

If you follow me on twitter than you mostly likely saw my tweet about all the negative reviews I haven’t written but haven’t posted yet. I just feel like your blog shouldn’t be fill with 2 stars reviews all the damn time. Yet this is the most reading year that I’m having. I guess my patience is short for bullshit writing. I’m at a lost on what to do. Should I just post the reviews back and to back and hope for the best? Or should I wait and spread them out amongst the good reviews that will hopefully come along?

So damn frustrating.

As least I know Cat Winters book The Uninvited is a 4 star read. Just need to come up with coherent enough sentences to express how much I love this book. No, scratch that. How much I love Cat Winters books and writing style. She is a definite auto buy for me and that doesn’t come easily. As you know I’m picky as hell on who and what I spend my money on. Especially, when it comes to books. Like if you wrote a crappy ass book, 9 times out of 10 I’m not giving you another chance.

With that being said, I must say that author Rin Chupeco prove me wrong. Because I hate her book The Girl From the Well. That book was terrible but her new book, The Suffering, which is a sequel to the book I just mentioned is great. So much better than the first. I absolutely loved it. That review will be coming shortly, so be on the lookout.

Well I guess I rambled by problems to you enough for today. Thanks for listening. If anyone else has went through the problems that I have with a bout of negative reviews, I’m all open to suggestions.

PS. Tasty Tuesday will be back next week because I need to tell you all how great Candy Club is.

As always thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave a comment.

  • I know exactly how you’re feeling! I post reviews at Audible.com, and I’m hesitant to just blast book after book. I think you should trust your instincts. You’ve put thought into these books. I like Keira’s advice about an overview to maybe just get it all out there. Maybe even add a survey asking followers which books they would like to know more about first to decide which books to post your full reviews on?
