About Me, Thoughts, Weekly Round Up, Weekly Wrap Up

Time for another weekly round-up. This week was a good one. I received my first package from Candy Club. A review on that will be coming shortly. Whether or not it’s worth the subscription. Let’s just say that gourmet candy is yummy deliciousness. Once again I need to stop sharing with my family. The greedy heffas lol.

Also this week I cleaned my book shelf. Well one of them. It was time because my shelf is overflowing with books of every genre. It’s so bad that I have to get rid of some, so I’m doing a giveaway via twitter. If you interested I highly suggest to look for me on Twitter @Creatyvebooks. Trust me the box of books are a good. US only. I will be doing a international giveaway shortly. So be on the lookout.

So with a clean shelf comes more books for me to put on there. Yes I only clean and straighten up my bookshelf so that I can make more room for more books. I have a problem, help me. Is there a bookaholic anonymous? This girl needs to sign up asap. The struggle is real on not buying books but once you hit the bookstore, whether it’s an independent or Barnes and Noble, you just can’t help but buy a book or two.

So I brought some Cat Winters book–The Cure for Dreaming and The Uninvited. I’ve read Cat Winters previous book The Shadow of Blackbirds and I absolutely loved it. I dig this author’s writing style and I can’t wait to dive into these lovely books. By the way The Cure for Dreaming is so beautiful in person. Pictures can’t do it justice. If anybody has read these books please let me know your thought with a comment below.

The other books that I purchase this week was Jodi Picoult’s Off the Page and Between the Lines. Not into romance all that much but this seem like a fun little read that I could not pass up.

The last and final book that I had to get was The Blumhouse Book of Nightmares. I love horror movies and books and Halloween is one of my favorite “Holidays” so naturally I had to add this book to my collection. This book is gorgeous. I mean you need to see all the details that went into making this book. Pictures just don’t do it any justice at all.

Scary right?

This is one book that I can’t wait to read. Saving it for the month of October. Come on that’s the month to read anything and everything scary.

Well there you have it. A week in Creatyvebooks life. I clean my book shelf only to fill it back up with some amazing new books. I started a candy subscription because this lady has a serious sweet tooth. Make that two. I forgot about BoCandy. This is similar to MunchPak but I think it mainly deals with foreign candies. Super excited to see what I get when the package finally comes. I’m slowly but surely becoming the subscription queen. Love trying new things. Don’t we all?

And before I forget, I added some new Funko Pop to the family. They include Eye Matie (Minions) and Harry Potter. Still have a 5 more to go with the Harry Potter Funko Collection. Anybody else collect Funko Pop?

Let me know.

As always thanks for taking the time to stop by and read. Please feel free to leave a comment.
