About Me, Blogger Life, Thoughts

Okay I have no idea that this award exist so I was pretty thrilled when I was nominated. I have to thank Sara over at saraletourneauwriter for nominating me. If you’re not following her you should. Her site is wicked cool. Yeah I totally sound like a teenager. I know.

From what I’ve gathered, the Real Neat Blog Award is pretty straight forward. You simply answer the questions that are posted by the blogger that nominated you. In return you nominate up to five bloggers with all new questions for them to answer.

Now lets see what Sara wanted to know.

1)What is your favorite book that you’ve read so far this year? Why?

My Favor read so far this year has to be An Ember in the Ashes. I just love the story that Sabaa Tahir weaved. Such a prolific writer that has a bright future ahead of her. I so happy that she got the green light from Penguin to start on the second book. Plus theirs talk of possibly a movie in the works. I’m all for it. Would love to see who would play Elias and Laia.

2)Which literary character do you relate to most? Why?

Oh this question is an easy one. I would have to say Cath from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I know what it’s like to be shy and scared of starting new adventures in your life. To be caught up in the fictional world you created with characters you love dearly. The true meaning to being a Fangirl.

3)Pick any fictional world you’d like to visit. What would you do there? Also, what you would avoid doing?;)

Come on if you know me by now you know exactly what I’m going to say. Yes ladies and gentle I wish to visit Hogwarts. I mean who would want to visit that magical. To see the world of Harry Potter. Definitely going to Hogsmead at the same time avoiding the Weeping Willow. Hopefully I can visit this place in the future, You know going to the amusement park in Orlando.

4)Now, pick one of your favorite places in real life, a place that feels like a second home. What is this place, and why is it special to you?

This is going to sound so cliche but I just love love love Disney World. It’s the only place where I can be myself. Where I can be silly and like a kid and see some of my favorite characters from childhood. Plus I love the Tower of Terror. One of my fave rides.

5)Share one of your favorite quotes. Why does it resonate with you?

“It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone even if you believe in something very strongly.” –12 Angry Men

That quote is one of my favorites and it’s so true at time because it’s so easily to be persuaded and pressured by society to look and feel a certain way or to think a certain. If not you can face persecution or worse isolation and cruelty. Whether that from bullying or plain hatred. I do think it take courage to stand by your conviction no matter what other people think or say.

So there you have it. Hope you enjoyed this fun little journey in to my psyche lol.

Now it time to nominate some bloggers. All these people have great blogs and you should definitely follow or at least take a look.

  1. Yay! Great to read your answers, Sanovia. Hogwarts would be one of my answers to #3 as well (along with Middle-Earth). I really, REALLY want to go to the Harry Potter park at Universal Studios someday too. Did you know they serve butterbeer there? 😀

    1. I would want to go to Middle-Earth but the good part. I don’t know if I would survive if I met any of those fearsome creatures out there lol.

Ha! that would be the first thing that I would want to try–butterbeer. You’ll probably get to try it before me since I have a book buying problem 🙂
