DYSTOPIAN DEVOTEES–BLOOD INK & FIRE

bloodinkfire

So I’m part of The Hundred–an exclusive group of devoted bibliophiles, readers, and bloggers that were hand picked to shape and share the world of Blood Ink & Fire by Ashley Mansour. To make things fun Ashley and Jess made missions for use to complete. So here is one of them.

“If every book on the planet was going to be burned and you could save only one, which one would you choose?”

Why

Yeah that meme says it all.

This is a hard question to answer because I just love books. Plus I feel for some strange reason that people would pick the Bible since it’s suppose to be the first book written in history. Or at least the most popular. Honestly don’t know why I feel that way. I’m a strange bird at time. Anyways have much deliberation I decided on which book I would save. A book that I can never get tired of reading.

The book I chose come from a series. A very popular series that turned into a billion dollar enprise. I mean there is an amusement park after this series. I really want to go to this amusement park. Just don’t know if I can choose between saving money or my book buying habit.

Maddening I tell you.

Just like this question.

Without further ado I’m quite sure many of you have guess that I’ve chosen a book from the beloved Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. All the books are great reads, but alas I can only choose/save one.  I decided on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Although the movie sucked ass, I absolutely love this one the best in the series.

HPGF

Not only are the characters older but the series becomes darker with each book that comes out. Plus I love all the trials and tribulation that Harry and the gang faces. With this book the friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione grew deeper and was cemented for the long haul. Besides who wouldn’t want to get lost in a world of magic and dragons and fierce dark creatures. If the world is going to be depressing and bleak I want to escape to the wonderful world of Hogwarts.

Even though you’re not participating in this mission I would still like to know what book would you choose? Remember you can only choose one book to save. Please write your answer in the comment here. Thanks.
