Catch Up Saturday.

Okay this is a really late post that I’m doing. Real late. It’s almost 4 pm where I’m at. By time I’m finish doing all that I need it might be 5pm.

Anyway I thought I would use this opportunity to catch up on the #BookishThanks Challenge that is going on over at Instagram. It’s hosted by @LovelyBookShelf but I found it through @MomsSmallVictories. She has a beautiful blog that you should definitely check out. Also I would like to point out that I have the physical copies of these book but I’m too lazy at the moment to going cruising around my small apartment digging through my bookshelves to find the copies. I have 3 so far and more are on the way.

Day 1 Make Me Laugh

Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes was hilarious. I just love Anika dark sense of humour. Weird that way.

Day 2 Scared Me Silly

Well technically I don’t get scared but Stephen King’s It creep me out. Come It ate children. Plus Clown. Equals creepy.

Day 3 Couldn’t Put Down

Six Feet Over It by Jennifer Longo. One of my favorite reads of 2014. Did a review awhile back. Check it out.

Day 4 Love the Cover

I had to choose two because I just love the cover of A Thousand Pieces of you by Claudia Gray and Promise of Shadows by Justina Ireland. I brought these two books base on the covers alone. I still haven’t read them yet but I plan too.

Day 5 Must Share With Others

Sorry but I can’t tell you enough how much I love this book. Leigh is such a memorable character with a unique voice.

Day 6 Comfort Read

When ever I’m down or in a reading slump, the Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling always seem to bring me out of it.

Day 7 Makes Me Love Paper

Not only was it a good play but it was a great movie starting Henry Fonda. If you haven’t read or seem 12 Angry Men by Reginald Rose, you need to put it on your tbr pile asap.

Day 8 Recommend by a Friend

This book was recommended to me by @lynnkiyomi over at Instagram. I was looking for books that had female heroines that were taller than the 5 feet that they normally display in books. Sometimes you want a character who “looks” like you and your body type.

Phew, I finally caught up and now I can continue this challenge on Instagram. Thank you for read. Leave a comment or feedback. It’s much apperciated. Heck Tweet about the Bookish Thanks Challenge.
